American rapper Nas EBK appears to have unfinished business with his ex-girlfriend, Jamaican singer Jada Kingdom and has dedicated his new song to the dancehall artiste.

In 2022, the couple revelled in the heights of their relationship over the summer, confessing their love for each other while celebrating their birthdays prior to their breakup. In July, Jada splurged on a diamond-encrusted Cartier watch for Nas’s 19th birthday and said that he was her dream boy and everything that she ever wanted.

Following their split in 2022, Nas and Jada have kept the details of their breakup private, though Nas indicated it was an amicable split. On Friday, the New York-based rapper shared an excerpt from his upcoming song, Ya Won (Defeated), on his Instagram page. Nas captioned the video with lyrics taken from the song’s sample of Akon’s single Don’t Matter and tagged Jada in the post.

“NOBODY WANNA SEE US TOGETHER, BUT IT DONT MATTER NOO, CAUSE I GOT YOU,” Nas wrote.

In the short excerpt of the track, the rapper expressed that his behaviour led to the pair’s breakup and that he was the one that lost.

“Tried to be playa, I fumbled wit Jada. Took a L, left me heartless,” Nas sang.

In an interview on PPhilms in November, Nas shared that there were a lot of things that he needed to take care of, especially in his career, and said that he and Jada had come to an agreement in regard to their relationship. When asked if there was any chance that the pair would get back together, Nas said that time would tell.
