North Carolina Lottery Winner Kills Girlfriend For Texting Other Men

Michael Todd Hill, a 54-year-old man who won $10-million in 2017 from a scratch-off lottery ticket in North Carolina, USA was sentenced to life in prison for killing his girlfriend.

According to WSPA, 23-year-old Keonna Graham went missing on July 20, 2020 and was reportedly found dead shortly after with a gunshot wound to the back of her head at the SureStay Hotel in Shallotte, North Carolina.

Based on surveillance footage obtained by prosecutors, Hill was found to be the only one inside the hotel room at the time of her death.

He later confessed to investigators of murdering Keonna and stated that he committed the act because she was texting other men while they were at the hotel together.

On Friday, May 27, Hill was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
