Plane Flips Upside-down During Airport Crash

Seemingly a result of 8 inches of snowfall over the weekend in the area, on Monday a Delta Air Lines plane crashed as it landed at Toronto’s Pearson Airport injuring 18 persons. The dramatic landing caused both wings to be torn off.

This is the latest of several crashes in North America since the start of 2025, there were no reported fatalities out of 80 people who were onboard, 76 being passengers plus four crew members.

Monday night, the airport’s fire chief and Authorities detailed that investigations into the crash will continue with more details to be revealed during the coming hours. The reason for the crash is yet to be revealed to the public.

“The cause of the crash is still under investigation and being led by the Transportation Safety Board. It’s not appropriate for us to comment at this time,” Airport Fire Chief Todd Aitken said.

The crash scene shows an icy runway with rescue officials assisting persons out of the upside-down plane. Luckily, there was no fire, something that happened in a similar recent event as per a reporter on CNN.

Gusty winds in the area is also believed be a factor in the accident.

The plane was travelling from Minneapolis to Canada’s Toronto Pearson Airport.
