PNP Supporters Out in Large Numbers as Local Government Elections Draw Closer – Watch Video

Ahead of the upcoming local government elections, supporters of the People’s National Party (PNP) can be seen in their numbers in a video circulating online.
After a prolonged delay, the date for local government elections was announced on February 1 by Minister of Local Government Desmond McKenzie.
The PNP has long desired their day at the polls, with the party’s president, Mark Golding, expressing confidence in their supporters on more than one occasion.
Following the announcement of the forthcoming government elections, Mario Mitchell, the Councillor for the Bellefield Division in Manchester shared a video showcasing just how large the party’s numbers are at a recent event.
In a video shared to his Twitter/X account on Sunday, scores of people can be seen in the PNP’s trademark orange.
So great were their numbers that the mass of supporters seemingly filled the large venue.
As per a source, this was the PNP’s Region 3 conference in ArnettGardens.
Jamaica’s local government elections are to be held on 26 February 2024 following nomination day on February 8.
