Following his debut performance in Jamaica on December 18, Nigerian afrobeat singer Burna Boy has been enjoying the Jamaican nightlife and was spotted partying alongside Jamaican dancehall artiste Popcaan on Wednesday.
Burna Boy, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, thrilled audiences at his recent concert at the National Stadium, which was one of his multiple stops in the Caribbean for his Love Damini Tour. He previously performed in Trinidad at the O2 Park in Chaguaramas and Antigua at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
The Last Last singer is set to perform in his homeland of Nigeria before taking his tour to Paris, London, and the Netherlands. But for now, the artiste is enjoying the Jamaican party circuit.
Popcaan joined Burna Boy during his stop in Trinidad and took to the stage again during Sunday’s concert. Yesterday, the artistes, who first collaborated on the single Toni-Ann Singh, attended Wild Card Wednesdays at Lounge 2727 in Montego Bay.
Their single’s namesake and Popcaan’s girlfriend, Toni-Ann, was also in attendance at last night’s event. The former Jamaica Miss World made her singing debut on Sunday, appearing alongside Popcaan as they performed the recently released track Next To Me.
