Another day, another adventure. Dancehall artiste Popcaan who is also known to be a bush man, takes us on another adventure to the river where he and his companions chef up some Sunday dinner of crispy fried chicken with rice and peas.

The Great Is He singer took to social media to post about his latest venture and he captioned the post, “Love the bush life! YANGKUNGKU.”

The journey started off with a video of a narrow road in a heavily wooded area being navigated via a vehicle and Popcaan can be heard shouting in the background, “Right now mi deh pan a rainy adventure yuh know,” as it was raining in the video.

Having reached their destination (the rain seemed to have stopped), Popcaan treads towards the river, hops in, and lets the flow of the water carry him downstream. Another video shows the deejay swimming in a different part of the river which was calmer than the first.

Moving on from his river exploration, the artiste explained, “I’m the only person that can discover these river in America, I’m in America right now. I’m not gonna tell you what city I’m in though, but this is America…”

From there, the highlight of the day, Sunday dinner, starts with showing the peas on the fire, straining the coconut milk for cooking, and showing the chicken to be cooked. Calling it “river chicken,” Popcaan shows his friend making the fried chicken which took on a pretty golden brown colour as it is cooked.

When dinner is ready, the Unruly Boss shares his plate with some rice and three pieces of chicken (wing, leg, and neck) as he prepares to eat, “right by the river.”

Uploaded to his Instagram account, the post got a lot of feedback from fans, most of whom had nothing but praise for the outdoor cooking activity. Jamdownfoodie stated, “I can smell this video. 😢,” and another individual wrote, “Dem vibes yah enuh 🔥☀️🔥.”
