Popcaan Links Up With Drake, Lil Yachty And Smiley While In Canada

Popcaan’s music career has elevated to another level and has made huge strides since his first breakthrough on the Dancehall scene in 2007, which sees him touring globally and in the presence of some of the biggest and hottest rappers on the international music scene.

The “876GUD” entertainer performed recently in Toronto, Canada at the Kingston Music Festival, a one-day outdoor Dancehall festival that featured music stars such as Shenseea, Skillibeng, and Chronic Law. An epic photograph was shared on Instagram that captured the Unruly Boss performing to a crowd on stage, which is said to be from this event.

While in Canada, Popcaan who has been signed to the Toronto-based record label, OVO Sound since 2018, appeared to have stopped for a link-up with a long-time friend and owner of the label, Canadian rapper Drake. To add, fellow, signed artiste rapper Smiley and Lil Yachty from the Concrete Boyz record label were all captured in one space.

Shared on Instagram by the Jamaican entertainer, is a photo that highlights the brotherly bond between him and Drake. The “Hotline Bling” rapper could be seen with one hand across Popcaan’s shoulder while standing. Seated on a chair in front are Lil Yachty and Smiley.

In the past, Popcaan and Drake have collaborated on songs such as, “All I Need”, “Twist and Turn,” and “My Chargie”. Additionally, Popcaan was featured in Lil Yachty and Stefflon Don’s music video, titled ‘Better’.
