Popcaan Performs at Burna Boy Concert and Kisses Toni-Ann on Stage – See Videos

As a part of his Love Damini tour, Burna Boy came to Jamaica to host a concert at the national stadium on Sunday, December 18, 2022, and Popcaan took the stage for a performance that included a surprise.

Taking the stage singing his song Inviolable, the Unruly Boss was dressed in simple black slacks, sneakers, and a loose shirt, with his hair sticking out in twists. He engaged the crowd in his performance by signaling for them to sing along to his repertoire of songs such as Numbers Don’t Lie, Ova Dweet, Ravin, Weed Is My Best Friend and El Chapo among others.

The highlight of the performance by the 876 GUD was when he called his alleged girlfriend, Toni-Ann Singh (former Miss World) to the stage to perform their recent collaboration together, Next To Me. Next To Me was released on November 30 and although it was Singh’s first professional musical endeavour, it was well received by the public.

Toni-Ann Singh was welcomed to the stage with excited screams and shouts, outfitted in army green cargo pants, and a black asymmetrical cut-out top with loose curls. She greeted Popcaan with a hug before walking closer to the crowd together.

Popcaan, born to the name Andrae Hugh Sutherland, started the song as in the official video with Singh coming in on the lines, “you make me wanna run, run, run…” Singh’s first Live performance on stage did not deter her from giving a lively showcase that included her displaying her flexible vocal range and crowd-engaging abilities.

Keeping her close with an arm around the waist for most of the performance, the Family entertainer surprised his fans by planting a kiss on Singh’s cheek and later dipping Singh backward. Before leaving the stage, Popcaan entices Singh to sing a part of another song by saying, “yuh nuh get weh yet ennuh. Mi wah yuh sing one song fimi.”

Singh launches into Pain by Masicka and Popcaan, which is met with cheers from the crowd. Hugging her one last time before she exits the stage, Popcaan says, “mi love yuh”, and hugs her once more.
