Raheem Sterling Showcases His Latest Footwear Collaboration with Clarks – See Photos

Following the release of his heritage-inspired footwear collection with Clarks in 2022, Jamaican-born English footballer Raheem Sterling has showcased his latest collaboration with the international shoe manufacturing company.

After launching his first limited edition Wallabee in 2020, Sterling joined Clarks as a Global Brand Ambassador last March, later releasing his heritage collection designed to pay homage to Jamaica in August. His latest joint project with the company was also designed with Jamaican influences and features a new take on Clark’s iconic Desert Trek Hi.

Nicknamed ‘Bank Robbers’ in Jamaica, the Desert Trek launched in the 1970s, has become well known for its distinctive central seam and rounded shape. Featured on Sterling’s new limited edition design is the year 1692, the name of the Chelsea footballer’s clothing brand, and the year his hometown of Kingston was founded.

To further pay homage to Jamaica, the country’s national motto, “Out of Many, One People,” has been foil-printed inside the Desert Trek’s tongue. Sterling, who co-designed the Trek’s new look, said that he had to come up with something fresh and original and explained that it had to be a design that he could wear with any look.
