Following her return to the stage for her Super Bowl LVII halftime show, Rihanna rocked multiple impeccable ensembles for her debut as an Oscar nominee for her single Lift Me Up.
After a long hiatus, Rihanna returned to music with her highly praised single Lift Me Up, a collaborative project between her, Nigerian singer Tems, Ludwig Göransson, and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler to honour Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman who passed away in 2020.
The Diamonds singer, who is expecting her second child, was nominated for Best Original Song and showed off her growing baby bump while walking the Oscars red carpet in a custom Alaïa outfit, which featured a leather train and halter top over a sheer long-sleeve mock neck top.
The artiste let down her messy top bun for her Lift Me Up performance and was covered from head to toe in diamonds. She wore an embellished custom Maison Margiela Artisanal look on stage, created especially for her by John Galliano. The look consisted of a bejewelled bra top and pants, and similar to her Super Bowl performance, the singer was lifted up on a rising platform as the emotions of her song intensified.
