Rihanna’s Baby’s Name Revealed to be RZA Athelston Mayers – See Pictures

After much fanfare and curiosity when it came to entrepreneur and global superstar Rihanna and the name of her firstborn son, his name has finally been revealed. 

The baby boy, almost a year old now, was born in 2022 to Robyn Rihanna Fenty (35 years old) and Rakim Athelaston Mayers (34 years old), who both kept their child under the radar except on a few occasions where he was videoed by his parents or photographed by paparazzi. Now, a popular media outlet has gained exclusive info on the child.

According to Daily Mail, they acquired a copy of the baby’s birth certificate that states that on May 13, 2022 at 10:58 AM at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The name of the baby boy was listed as RZA Athelston Mayers. 

It is claimed that the bouncing baby boy was named after the musician and producer RZA, who is a member and leader of the famous Wu-Tang Clan. The group consists of RZA himself, U-God, GZA, Raekwon, Masta Killa, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, and deceased member, Ol’ Dirty Ba*tard. RZA’s real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs.

Although the name reveal might come as a shock to some, Rihanna seemed to have been dropping hints about the baby’s name. Fans had first thought that the baby’s name was Noah but as there was no evidence of this, the rumour died down. 

Now that the baby is revealed to be named RZA, some of Rihanna’s fashion choices seem to make more sense. The fashionista was photographed along with her partner A$AP Rocky and RZA on a night out in Santa Monica with Rihanna sporting a baggy black, grey and white Wu-Tang Clan t-shirt. She was also pictured in a top with the name RZA on it.

A$AP also has a connection to the Clan as he collaborated on the song Fly International Luxurious Art (2015) with the member Raekwon. 

With another baby on the way, many fans are again looking forward to the name of her secondborn and the baby’s gender, which has been kept under tight wraps as it was with the star’s first pregnancy.
