As the attendance of the prosecution’s witness in the trial seems more unlikely, Shab Don has seemingly welcomed the news.

Frazer, Calvin, and Reid were killed during a drive-by shooting at a birthday party in Rose Heights, St. James. The prosecution has been trying to secure testimony from a key witness, who is currently in America for the upcoming murder trial.

However, the individual in question is not only overseas but has been incarcerated in Florida on a murder charge.

Reacting to the Jamaica Star’s report on the ongoing problem plaguing the prosecution’s case against Shab Don, the outlet’s Instagram post about the article was liked by the Shab Don Records Instagram page.

While it is not clear if Shab Don is the sole operator of the page as he remains incarcerated, the producer has previously extended birthday wishes to his daughter and friends via the Instagram account. Shab Don, born Linval Thompson Jr., and his co-accused Clarke appeared in court on Wednesday and were given a trial date for February.

After his client’s court hearing, attorney Tom Tavares-Finson shared that the prosecution is taking steps to arrange for their incarcerated witness to give evidence. Tavares-Finson further shared that the presiding judge has advised the prosecution to find a means of proceeding with their case in light of the unavailability of their witness.
