Shaggy Celebrates His Eldest Daughter’s 17th Birthday with Humourous Message and Family Photos

Shaggy is celebrating the birthday of his eldest daughter, Sidney Burrell, with the deejay receiving a humorous set of instructions from the teen in anticipation of the day.

The Dancehall veteran is a father of five: two older boys, Richard and Tyler, and daughters Sidney, Madison, and Kelsey, whom he shares with his wife, Rebecca Packer.

On Saturday, Shaggy posted a celebratory birthday message to his Instagram page and shared that Sidney begged him to share a specific set of photos of her, as he is known to post something crazy.

“Got this from my daughter last night: hey wonderful amazing father if you’re going to post me for my birthday use these i BEG………..bc u just love post craziness sometimes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. She knows me well … I look for the worst pics 🤦🏾‍♂️,” Shaggy wrote.

Noting that his daughter’s wish was his command, he went on to share his birthday wishes for Sidney on her special day. “It’s your Birthday and your wish is my command… hope your having an amazing day!! I know you’re surrounded by your amazing friends filled with lots of love. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYD!!”

As requested, Shaggy shared the 17-year-old’s desired photos, which included several pictures of her and her family. Among the photos were seemingly recent pictures of Sidney going horseback riding, as well as those of the teen from her childhood, including one with her father.

Also included in the post were photos of Sidney with her brothers Tyler and Richard, as well as her younger twin sisters.

In addition to her father, Sidney also received birthday wishes from her mom, Who joked in the comment section of Shaggys post that Sydney had also given her a hard time about the photos she used.

“She just gave me a talk about the ones I posted 😂😂 Happy birthday Princess. Always wearing the crown. Have a beautiful day my darling,” Rebecca wrote.
