Dancehall entertainer Shaneil Muir reportedly collapsed at the A&B Complex on Market Street in Montego Bay, St. James ahead of her performance scheduled for tonight at Shades Pon-Di-Beach at Sugar Pot Beach in Ocho Rios.
Muir’s management team released a statement to say that she was taken to urgent care at GWest Medical & Surgery Centre where she was examined and given seven days of leave. This is a result of her suffering from exhaustion and exhibiting stress-related symptoms.
The release also stated that the entertainer will share further details on the matter. “Shaneil has also committed to speaking openly about her situation via her social media pages as soon as she is physically and mentally able to.”
Nonetheless, Dancehall artistes Chronic Law and D’yani were also billed to perform at the venue tonight.
For this month, the 3D artiste amassed a very busy schedule, with being booked for shows across the Caribbean and in the US. On the 1st, she was booked for St. Maarten, the 15th in Ocho Rios, the 16th in Connecticut, the 22nd in Belize and the 29th in St. Croix.
