Shawn Storm Declares “2 More Days to Go”
As the wait for his long-awaited appeal is almost over, Dancehall artiste Shawn Storm is counting down the days until his “freedom.”
After failing their first appeal in the Jamaica Court of Appeal, Gaza member Shawn Storm, his mentor Vybz Kartel, and co-appellants Kahira Jones and Andre St. John are currently seeking to have their murder convictions overturned by the United Kingdom Privy Council.
Shawn Storm’s defence team and that of his co-appellants will argue their case in front of the Privy Council starting tomorrow and ending on Thursday.
On Monday, the deejay continued to express his confidence that the appeal would lead to his and Kartel’s freedom, sharing the music video for the track Empire Forever.
In addition to “2 Days to go!” the short snippet featured the phrase “FREEDOM 2024.”
The My Life artiste further captioned the post with the question, “GAZANATION unu READY!!!!!?”
The appellants were convicted in 2014 for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. The men later appealed the conviction in the Jamaica Court of Appeal in 2020.
