Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Confirmed for 100m Event in Kenya

Jamaican sprint darling Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the multiple Olympic and world female sprint champion who is also arguably Jamaica’s greatest female athlete of all time, confirmed on Wednesday that she will be participating in the Kip Keino Classic Challenge Tour meet on May 13 in Nairobi, Kenya.

This meet is regarded as a part of her preparation for the upcoming World Championship in Hungary this summer.

One of the notable features of the Kip Keino Classic is that it is the only World Athletics Challenge Tour Gold Label event in Africa.

Having won her 5th World Championship title last year at the Oregon 2022 World Athletics Championships, Fraser-Pryce will be returning to the meet where she started her season with a scintillating 10.67-second run to capture first place last year.
