Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Gives Hilarious Reactions to Sha’Carri Richardson’s Comments at Press Conference – Watch Interview

Following the conclusion of their long-awaited faceoff in the 100m at the World Athletics Championships, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jackson, and Sha’Carri Richardson met with the press to discuss Monday’s race. The formal setting was overcome with laughter, with Fracer-Pryce giving a hilarious reaction to several statements made by Richardson.

Twenty-three-year-old Richardson copped her first World Championship gold medal in a new personal best time of 10.65 seconds, ahead of Jackson and Fraser-Pryce in second and third place, respectively. Jackson, who secured her second silver in the 100m today, expressed that she would be studying today’s race with her coach to improve her execution but was happy to have placed in the top three.

Fraser-Pryce, who has a total of 15 World Championship medals, spoke about how knowing that she has more to give motivates her to keep competing after such success. Speaking on Fraser-Pryce’s achievements in track and field, Richardson sought to praise the sprinter’s great attributes as a role model but sparked a hilarious reaction.

Richardson first dubbed Fraser-Pryce an amazing athlete and then stated that she grew up watching her. Her statements alluded to the fact that Fraser-Pryce was much older than her and stunned the 36-year-old, whose side eye sparked laughter across the room.
