Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Shares Scenes From Her Son’s Lap-A-Thon Sports Day Event – See Photos

Following her viral race last year at her son Zyon’s sports day, mommy rocket Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce took things a bit slower this year at Zyon’s lap-a-thon.
Zyon took part in his first primary school sports day last year, with his mother participating in the parent’s race.
During the race, Fraser-Pryce easily outpaced the other moms to claim victory for Zyon’s school house, Blue House.
Ahead of this year’s sports day, the celebrated athlete took part in Zyon’s school’s lap-a-thon alongside her husband, Jason Pryce.
On Wednesday, Fraser-Pryce shared a few scenes from the event on her Instagram page.
Dressed for the occasion, the Pryce family rocked Nike and Zyon’s House colours for the lap-a-thon, with Fraser-Pryce rocking blue leggings and a sports top under a grey training crop sweatshirt.
Captioning the photos, which included family photos and pictures of the other attendees, the sprinter shared that she had to remind herself not to run.
“ ‘Walk, don’t run, Shelly,’ I had to remind myself this at Zyon’s school lap-a-thon lol…’Let’s not repeat last year at the parent race.’ Sometimes it feels good to slow down,” Fraser-Pryce wrote.
