Shenseea Sings 2002 Pop Classic ‘A Thousand Miles’ – Watch Video

Dancehall superstar Shenseea showcased her impeccable vocals by singing the 2002 iconic Pop classic titled, A Thousand Miles by American singer and songwriter, Vanessa Carlton.

Sitting comfy in what appears to be a living room, a woman plays the harp alongside Shenseea who harmonizes the tune while she gives an effortless 58-second cover of the hit single. This, however, is not surprising as the Blessed singer has openly voiced her intentions of dabbling in another genre of music, which was broadly represented in her debut album, ALPHA.

Despite the many criticisms of Shenseea’s crossover, she continues to diversify her music catalogue and represent her country on the international stage. Some of the comments arising from the post shared to her Instagram reel were that of negativity, while others were in awe of her vocals, some comparing her to Barbadian singer, Rihanna.

Having been the first Jamaican to be signed to the acclaimed American record label called Interscope Records, Shenseea has joined the likes of international recording artistes such as Lady Gaga, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Selena Gomez, and Maroon 5.
