Shenseea’s Show-Stopping Look At The MTV Video Music Awards – See Photos
Dancehall superstar Shenseea appeared at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards among some of the top international names in the music industry. She was the only Jamaican on the list, having been nominated in the category for ‘Push Performance of the Year’ for her performance of the R U That single featuring 21 Savage from her debut album, ALPHA.
Shenseea’s grand entrance on the red carpet event was an ultimate show-stopper, with the artiste pulling up wearing a Marc Jacobs ss22 ensemble that was styled by Kris Fe. Her look was an avant-garde, unconventional-inspired fashion, where she dressed futuristically to stand out amongst the celebrity crowd.
The “Run Run” entertainer wore a silver and black sequin-embellished open long top, a floor-length Logo Jacquard denim frayed maxi skirt, with a baggy ruffled sleeve, and a denim jacket hanging from her shoulder. To complete the look, she paired it with white platform 6-inch block Mary Jane heels, a short side bob, and natural makeup.
Hosted by Nicki Minaj, Jack Harlow and LL Cool J on Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, the event featured performances from artistes such as Anitta, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Lizzo, BLACKPINK, Kane Brown, Eminem and Snoop Dogg.
