Shericka Jackson Places Third In The Women’s 60m In Paris

Olympic sprinter Shericka Jackson placed third in the Women’s 6Om at the ‘Meeting de Paris’ Indoor meet in France on Sunday.
In first place, Mujinga Kambundji of Switzerland set a meet record of 7.06 seconds, then Lotta Kemppinen of Findland placed second with a season’s best of 7.17 seconds while Jackson came in third place in 7.18 seconds.
Jamaican Olympic athlete Shashalee Forbes also placed fifth place with a time of 7.26 seconds.
For this season, Jackson is the third-fastest Jamaican with a season-best of 7.12 seconds. Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah is in first place with a time of 7.04s and Briana Williams in second place with a time of 7.09s.
The World Athletics Indoor Championships will take place in Belgrade, Serbia from March 18-20 and the national team will be announced this week by the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association.
