Prominent dancehall artiste Skeng was revealed to be expecting a new baby hours ago. On the heels of the informal announcement, he dropped pictures from a photo shoot with his family. A photoshoot was how he revealed to the world that he had his first child and namesake, Kevon Douglas Junior.
Since the deejay did not flaunt his personal life on camera, fans were not aware he was expecting a baby until the little bundle of joy was old enough to do a shoot with Mom and Dad.
Now, embracing the life of a celebrity, the Ratty Gang artiste allowed his supporters to join his celebratory moment by sharing photos of his expecting girlfriend and their nine-month-old baby by his side.
The two pictures showed the family in different outfits, the first being a photograph with light tones. The mother, Asya Miller, wore a white see-through dress, which showed a bit of her protruding tummy, with feathers decorating the bust. She held her son, who sported a cream shirt with light brown shorts, while Skeng, who rocked khaki pants and a white shirt, sat next to him.
The second photo showed the Ratty Gang family in black; Skeng and his son wore black sweatsuits, while Asya was rocking a black dress that had an opening in the middle, leaving her baby bump bare.
The photographs were shared on his Instagram page on Sunday night, with a family emoji in the caption and the hashtag “#BabyWoopWoop!” The post has since garnered over 69,205 likes and a ton of congratulatory comments.

More photos of the happy couple and their son were shared on Asya’s Instagram account, where she gushed about her happiness to be making babies with her “favourite person” and expressed prayers of protection over her family.
Under photos of Skeng embracing her, one with little Kevon and the other without him present, she wrote, “So my baby is going to be a big brother, I can’t believe.”
And in another post, which featured the happy couple touching the baby bump, she rewrote Skeng’s hashtag.
