Skillibeng No Longer a Part of Chris Brown’s “Under The Influence” European Tour – See Post

In December of 2022, Chris Brown took to social media to announce the addition of dancehall artiste Skillibeng to the European leg of his Under The Influence tour, dubbing the Crocodile Teeth entertainer as “my brother.”

However, as the tour creeps closer to its first staging, Skillibeng has updated his social media with a statement about his pulling out of the tour. Scheduled to begin on Sunday, February 12, 2023, with the first show at the 3Arena in Dublin, fans were looking forward to the Mr Universe deejay at a live performance show.

On Friday, Skillibeng posted to his Instagram the following statement: “It is with a heavy heart that Skillibeng/Eastsyde Rocords would like to announce to fans, his withdrawal from the “Under the Influence Tour: Europe”. We were looking forward to being on the road with our brother Chris Brown and doing what we do best which is entertaining our fans.”

Continuing the address, he stated, “Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we could not make the Europe leg of the tour happen. We look forward to being on the road Again.”

Subsequent to the announcement, due to no specific reason for the cancellation, fans of the artiste made general comments about visa issues or the pay for the tour being the reason for his cancellation at such short notice. Someone said, “Yeah if they paying peanuts leave it, cause we love you Skilli,” while another wondered, “Why y’all announce it like this. Thought bro was dead.”
