Skillibeng, Mura Masa and rapper Pa Salieu teamed up to create a bangin’ hit single that has been making a massive impact on the airwaves. “Blessing me”, a collaboration by the three, now has an official music video, having just been released earlier today.
The music video and the song are a fusion of cultures. Jamaican deejay Skillibeng brought the hard-core Dancehall flavour to the track, while Pa Salieu who has Gambian heritage balanced it off with a British rap to give it that international flair.
This is not a typical production and as shown throughout the music video, different ethnicities of women, a contrast of colours and unusual props were included to bring the creative process to life.
Pa Salieu’s catchy verse started the single with the lines, “Baby, bend over, bless me, Baby, why yuh tempting me? Tell me baby, can you ride with me? (With who?)”.
It was then complemented by Skillibeng who did not disappoint in his verse: “Bless mi, baptize mi c-cky, Mi love yuh right and nuh like jalopy, Wet up yuh pu–y like pipe weh yuh drip, Slap up yuh batty when yuh ridin’ my D, Bless, bless, bless, bless, bless mi.”
The official audio of “Blessing me” was released on May 25. It was produced by Mura Masa under the record labels Polydor Records and 2022 Anchor Point Records.
