South Sudan’s President Urinates on Himself During Official Ceremony – Watch Video
The seventy-one-year-old president of the African Nation of South Sudan accidentally urinated on himself during a public ceremony recorded on a live television broadcast.
According to reports, President Salva Kiir Mayardit was in attendance at an opening ceremony for a new road project on Tuesday when the incident occurred. Mayardit was joined by a number of people, including military officials and dignitaries, who were standing for the country’s national anthem.
Donning a mask, sunglasses, and his trademark Stetson hat, Mayardit stood in front of the camera crew, and on the video, a damp, dark patch can be seen running down his trousers before the liquid pools at his feet.
The president soon realizes this and looks down at his feet before the camera quickly pans away to the right onto a group of on-looking men and military personnel. Mayardit, who has served as the South Sudanese president since 2011, is believed to have suffered from a urinary tract infection, according to Sahara Reporters.
