Spice Ranks in Top 5 on 2 Spotify Charts for 2023 – See Post

Spice, birth name Grace Hamilton, once again showcases why she deserves the title of Queen of Dancehall as she finds herself on not one but two Global Spotify Charts for 2023.

Among the list of Jamaican Dancehall artistes that have made the same charts, Spice is the only female to have come out on the list in the top 10 category.

She’s placed at spot number five on the Top 10 Most Streamed Dancehall Albums Globally on Spotify for this year. The top four spots are dominated by Sean Paul with his albums Tomahawk Technique (4 [2012]), Dutty Rock (3 [2002]), The Trinity (2 [2005]), and Mad Love The Prequel (2018) in first place.

On the Top 10 Most Streamed Dancehall Song Globally on Spotify 2023, Spice’s Go Down Deh feat. Shaggy and Sean Paul lands at spot number four. The other ranks are also taken by Sean Paul with She Doesn’t Mind (5), Get Busy (3), Temperature (2), and No Lie (1).

A post of the accomplishment was made on Instagram by one of her fan pages, Spice also rehsared the stats on her Instagram stories.

The fan page wrote, “Congratulations @spiceofficial on being the Jamaican female with the most streamed album and song on Spotify Global in 2023. Go Down deh is also the most streamed collaboration by a Jamaican on the platform two years in a row.”

It was also mentioned that Go Down Deh has surpassed 473 million streams and views on YouTube music, and pointed out that Spice’s album 10 has exceeded 267 million organic streams and sold more than 83,000 units in the United States.
