Nearly two years after he was detained in Florida, Squash has reportedly been arrested in the American state on gun-related charges.
Reports state that the Dancehall artiste was arrested this morning and held at the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a circulated police report, Squash has been allegedly charged with possession of a machine gun, a short-barrel shotgun, and a rifle.
Additionally, the Big Breeze deejay was detained for carrying a concealed weapon.
His bond has not yet been set, and a warrant case for the artiste will also be set.
The report further stated that an immigration hold was placed on Squash.
In 2023, Squash, born Andre Whittaker, was arrested in Florida on immigration-related charges.
He had reportedly overstayed the time given to him on his work visa.
Reaction to the report on social media, one person said, “The worst thing on there is that hold for immigration😩😩 if you know u know..no matter what bond they set he ain’t coming out with that hold!”
Squash’s most vocal nemesis online Blam Dem also reacted to the reports of Squash being arrested, expressing joy whyile also targeting Squash’s mother, Blam Dem said, “Yeah man Shelly you eva hear a saying seh who laugh last laugh the best…. Now a mi a laugh right now”
