Following 1Stock’s passing, his fans have been sharing their condolences online.
“I’m so sorry. The car scene lost a young King. You put NYC back on the map in a positive perspective. You gave our scene the respect we needed. Not just known for idiotic takeovers. You’ve gained the respect of many, and that will live on as your legacy. Rest easy, you will never be forgotten,” one fan wrote.
While the details of the accident are not yet clear, one fan said that it was caused by a blown-out motor.
“Rip Dre. ️ What happened was he blew his motor going 170 mph at the end of a race versus a mustang, the oil from the motor caused him to loose control of the car because he was on slicks plus the speed. He hit a pole and was ejected from the car the police scanners confirmed it as a DOA. No matter what happened or how it happened we all love cars and gotta prioritize safety. RIP Dre hope we can all learn from this,” the fan wrote.
