The La Liga season could restart behind closed doors for the derby between Real Betis and Sevilla on June 11.   However, Tebas the La Liga chief warned the footballers to “be careful with their action” 4 Sevilla players broke rules on social gathering and had to apologize. The Premier League was suspended indefinitely on Friday after the 20 soccer clubs met and a series of financial measures were discussed amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The English league had given a return date of April 30 but they are not sure, and that was pushed back with a statement that said the “2019-20 season will only be back when it is appropriate and safe to do so” and only if the Government fully supports it and give medical guidance. A combined objective for all remaining domestic league and cup matches are to be held, as the integrity of each competition is being maintained. The prosecutors were seeking to extend the detention of the 39-year-old football player and his brother Roberto Assis, but the defence lawyer Sérgio Queiroz, said they should be set free as they are not a threat or flight risk.  Ronaldinho and his brother were arrested in a hotel in Asunción on Friday night, in Paraguay’s capital, and they were accused of entering with fake Paraguayan ID documents. The Jamaica Reggae Boyz narrowly missed out on a perfect run in the 2019-2020 CONCACAF Nation’s League’s group stage after winning all their preview 5 matches, doing so without conceding. Jamaica played Caribbean opponent Guyana on November 18th at Catherine Hall Sports Complex, Montego Bay. Match time, the match kicked off at 8:00 pm. Guyana scored first in the 45th minute then the Reggae Boyz equalized shortly after in the 50th munites.
