The MC Nuffy Interview That Seemingly Led to Spice’s Fallout with The Fix Podcast – Watch Videos
Following her fallout with The Fix in 2018, Spice’s return to the popular podcast is set for release on Monday. Ahead of the highly anticipated podcast episode, an interview featuring MC Nuffy on The Fix, which seemingly led to the viral fallout, has resurfaced.
In November 2018, Spice tackled The Fix host Naro Hart during an interview backstage at the launch party for her mixtape, Captured. The mixtape featured songs like Black Hypocrisy, which discussed colourism, something Spice had accused Naro and The Fix of during their ill-fated meeting.
Additionally, Spice had accused the podcast host of downplaying and degrading her, in addition to questioning who she had slept with in the past.
“Stop live pan mi name. Yuh wah know who f**k mi, yuh wah know who dis, yuh wah know everything bout mi. Come off a mi name,” Spice stated.
During the outburst, a seemingly baffled Naro questioned when The Fix had discussed who was sleeping with Spice. However, just a few months earlier, Naro and his co-host Arianne ‘Ari’ Hammond did just that during an interview with MC Nuffy.
During the interview, the trio discussed Nuffy’s past working relationship with Spice, with the popular MC detailing how he assisted the artiste in her rise to fame. After Nuffy expressed that Spice was upset with him because of their personal issues, Naro questioned if they were ever in a relationship.
According to Nuffy, the pair had a short-lived sexual relationship.
“Just a small deh. A nuh nutting weh guh inna like long ting yuh know. Becaw me’s a man weh at dem time deh a real gyalis dem time deh. Dem time deh mi have a girl dung a Gregory Park name Pennies. Like shi come dung deh and come see mi and dat girl suh [ … ] wi neva really guh nuh weh,” Nuffy said.
While he did not wish to describe her as his “side chick,” Nuffy went on to state that Spice was one of the many women he was seeing at the time.
“A nuh really like someting weh mi affi glorify [ … ] A nuh like seh a somebody weh yuh deh personal like how mi have mi personal lady now weh mi live wid. Shi was one a di many coming in di line.”
Nuffy went on to share how he encouraged her during her early career, as she was timid about performing on stage. Following Nuffy’s statements, Naro appears to have made a suggestive comment about their alleged sexual relationship and asked Nuffy if he had injected some courage into her.
