These are Queen Ifrica’s 3 Children: Imeru Tafari, ‘Tanzi’ and Malawi

Reggae artiste Queen Ifrica built a notable career in the music genre and has cemented a name for herself in the industry. Referred to also as the Fyah Mumma, she is the mom of three children, two of whom she shares with the iconic Reggae artiste, Tony Rebel.

Queen Ifrica’s eldest child, Imeru Tafari, is from a previous relationship.

She and her former longtime partner of 23 years, Rebel, share: Tanzania, known as “Tanzi,” and Malawi. The first two of her children, Imeru and Tanzi, have followed in their mother’s footsteps and are pursuing careers in music, continuing the family’s musical legacy.

Imeru Tafari is a Reggae artiste who also does Dancehall. He is best known for his collaboration, ‘Elevate’ with Dancehall artiste Popcaan produced by Dan Sky Records / Attomatic Records.

Another of Tafari’s most popularly known tracks is called ‘Vibrations,’ that was recorded alongside Chronic law and Popcaan. He has performed at prestigious festivals like Reggae Sumfest, the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in addition to Rebel Salute.

He has also collaborated with his mom, Queen Ifrica, in 2024 for the single, ‘I Love Rastafari’.

Queen Ifrica and Tony Rebel’s first child together, Tanzania ‘Tanzi’ Barrett is also looking to pave her way in the music. She has been in the studio recording singles and have graced the stage, also performing at Rebel Salute.

Finally, Malawi, the youngest son of the former couple whi is in his teens. While an official page exists for him, it has not been made public. He has however, been photographed at Rebel Salute with his mom, sister and brother.
