Thief Gets Beaten While Trying to Steal Car Battery in Mobay – Watch Video
A man was just in time to catch a thief making off with a car battery and recover the stolen item. In Montego Bay, St James, a thief blatantly made his way to a parked white car at 4:54 PM. He swiftly got the bonnet open to remove the Auxiliary Battery and started making off with the item. The act was captured on an outside surveillance camera that displayed the date as Tuesday.
A man spotted the perpetrator with the battery a few steps away from the vehicle. The man chased after him with a shovel, and the thief dropped the battery and ran to an area that was obscured from the camera’s view.
The owner seemingly hit the thief with the shovel and continued chasing him before returning to recover the stolen battery.
