TikToker ‘Alex Yamboss’ Shot: Hospitalised in Critical Condition

Jamaican TikToker and former YouTuber ‘Alex Yamboss’ is the latest local social media influencer to be attacked by armed personnel as per developing reports.
The incident reportedly took place in the Browns Hall community in St. Catherine, not far from the Tacius Golding High School.
A male who says he knows Alex, states that he visited the family and was informed that the Tiktoker was in fact shot and in the hospital. The person also stated that he was shot in the head and is currently in critical condition.
Persons on TikTok suggest that the TikToker was online when the attack took place
Alex initially got a buzz on YouTube about four years ago via the Channel ‘Abby and Alex’, a young couple who separated some time after they started to make rounds on the platform.
However, Alex resurfaced on TikTok where he now has over 90k followers. He is best known on the platform for his comedity skits and dancing skills. He’s also an aspiring Dancehall artiste who recently had a viral song in which he sings about ‘Yamhead’.
Reacting to the news, one person commented on his latest TikTok video, saying, “Alex tell me anuh u dem say passed,” along with crying emojis. Another person said, “hes not dead uno stop spread falls newsss e dawg gov speedy recovery fam jah jah,” along with praying emojis.
