Dancehall artistes Shenseea, Masicka, Chronic Law, Pablo YG, 450, and RajahWild all claim spots on this edition of the top trending list for the most dominant songs right now.

This list is based on the top five trending songs on YouTube for Jamaica at the moment.

Pablo YG kicks off this top-five list of trending songs, with his single Radar claiming the #5 spot on trending. The artiste proclaims he is staying off his enemies’ radar and remains focused on gaining his fortune instead while deejaying on a piano-fused riddim composed by Phantom Beatz.

The song was produced by Tevin ‘YGF’ Richards and track coach and husband of Elaine Thompson-Herah, Derron ‘HMP’ Herah. Following its release on January 12, Radar has acquired over 1.3 million views and 39,000 likes.

Chronic Law takes on the dreaded Jamaican ‘crawsis gyal’ in his single Salt Gyal, which takes the #4 spot on trending. The track was produced by CrashDummy Productions and DJ Mac, who plays the victim of the ‘salt gyal’ in the song’s music video, which was shot by Darkmoon.

Salt Gyal was released on January 18 and has so far garnered over 627,000 views and 27,000 likes.

Young deejay RajayWild secures the #3 spot on trending with his latest dark spin on the dancehall genre, Monster. The track was produced by Zimi Records and Now Or Never Records and features a gory music video directed by AKA. Ruppi.

The single has amassed over 1.1 million views and 34,000 likes since its release on January 16.

450 has secured another fan favourite with his single What If, which claims the #2 spot on this list. What If was produced by Week.Day and executive produced by Tru Ambassador Entertainment and Next Generation.

The song was released on January 13 and has acquired over 2 million views and 66,000 likes.

Amid calls for her to return to dancehall after branching out into the genres of pop and hip-hop, Shenseea has secured a hit with her latest single, Hit & Run, featuring Masicka. Released via Rvssian’s label Rich Immigrants and Interscope Records, Hit & Run premiered on January 26, garnering high praise for the artiste from fans.

Less than a week after its release on YouTube, the track has secured the #1 spot on trending after amassing over 3.7 million views and 129,000 likes on the platform.
