Top 5 Trending/Hottest Dancehall Songs in Jamaica Right Now: August 2024
Securing spots on the latest compilation of the top-five trending songs list are Dancehall artistes Skippa, Kraff, Teebone, Squash, and Javo Donn.
Javo Donn kicks off this top-five list with his single Levelz To This, which currently occupies the #5 spot. The track’s music video was released on July 31 and was directed by Chadd Henry of Kreative Klique.
Produced by Cash Code and Antuwang Music, Level’s To This’ beat was composed by Rockit and features a sample of Without Me by American singer Halsey. Following its release, the song has so far acquired over 791,000 views and 25,000 likes.
This list is based on the top five trending songs on YouTube for Jamaica at the moment.
Teebone takes the #4 spot on this list with his recently released song, Toyota Crown 2. The single comes almost three years after the release of Teebone’s first iteration of the song Toyota Crown, which was produced by Countree Hype and released on December 15, 2021.
Countree Hype returns for Part 2 of Toyota Crown, with the song featured on his Fast N Furious riddim. Since its release on August 16, the track has so far acquired more than 353,000 views and 13,000 likes.
Claiming the #3 spot on trending is INFIDEL, the latest single from Kraff. INFIDEL was produced in collaboration with The Budu Dem, Slyda Di Wizard Music, Black Spyda Records, and Shane Creative, and mixed by Black Spyda.
The track’s occult-themed music video was directed by Shane Creative and released on August 17. It has since acquired more than 302,000 views and 20,000 likes.
Dancehall artiste Squash takes the #2 spot on trending with his newly released single, All Now. The Montego Bay artiste declares his supremacy over his “opps” in this 6ixReal Records, Salkey Records, Black Ku-produced track.
Released on August 19, All Now has acquired over 349,000 views and 23,000 likes.
As he continues to release songs in quick succession, Skippa remains a fixture in the top five and secures the #1 spot on trending with Young. Young, the latest track from the artiste, was produced by Together Entertainment and Solitary Muzic.
Young was released on August 14 and has so far amassed 347,000 views and 18,000 likes.
