Sprinter-turn-music-producer Usain Bolt has released his fifth album titled off one of his greatest moments in Track and Field. The retired sprint king teased the album Usain Bolt Presents: 9.58 Riddim on Instagram today with visuals that transition from a silhouette of himself to deejays Vybz Kartel, Chronic Law, IWaata, Quada, Ajji and Top Mann.
The A-Team Lifestyle produced project has 6 songs and shares the title of his world record in the 100m. At the 2009 IAFF World Championships, Bolt set the 100m world record time when he clocked an amazing 9.58 seconds, which is still the world record today.
The Riddim includes sound effects of thunder and a commentator announcing the record time. A short clip was shared on his Instagram where with a caption to stir anticipation and excite his 11.5 million fans.
“Them think a Joke thing,” he said in the caption with a silencing emoji and #958 alongside a clock.
“Friday nah pass and we nuh scorch the place,” he added with fire emojis.
The reception has been nothing but positive with commenters praising the riddim as they fill the comment section with numerous flames.
The album features Touch Sky by Vybz Kartel, Money Fast by Chronic Law, Different by IWaata, Levels by Quada, Own Don by Ajji and Topmann’s Who Wi.
