Usain Bolt has seemingly made a pitch to Harry Kane for him to join the club he supports, Manchester United, in an effort to catch their rivals Manchester City. It’s well-known in football circles that Bolt is a lover of the beautiful game. According to the legendary sprinter, he would swap his gold medals to play in the UEFA Champions League.
Bolt sat down with the TalkSports panel for an interview during his trip abroad to participate in an annual charity football match, Soccer Aid. The former sprinter discussed his golden years in track and field as well as his beloved club Manchester United.
In response to the questions about the future of Manchester United and Manchester City dominance, Bolt stated, “I think we are going to catch up, am not really worried, I think we are going to catch up, I think we definitely I don’t know who we are going to get, but I would love to see Kane at Manchester United and Rice those two I think will be a great addition to midfield and a striker because we need one.”
Closing off the interview, Usain Bolt gave his view on the highly debated argument of who had the better season, Arsenal Or Man United. “That’s the funniest thing people keep arguing about that how is that even a question; we won a trophy, end of discussion,” Bolt said jokingly.
