Since leaving the world of sprint, Usain Bolt has created a space in the music industry for himself via his label A-Team Lifestyle and has worked with artistes such as Dexta Daps, Cham, and Christopher Martin.

The track star turned music producer teased his latest project on Tuesday, a new track with Reggae singer Queen Ifrica. The producer appears to be gearing up for the new release with one of Jamaica’s most prominent female Reggae artistes.

Bolt and Queen Ifrica shared the teaser on their Instagram page, showing fans what they have been working on in the studio, and fans were teased with a few lines from their new single. “Nuh rush di A-Team. Di champ si di vision wi nuh too dream [ … ] Awful, terrible, suh crime scene.”

“Dem spot the trouble from wi ride in. Seh wi ready now fi changes. Mi auntie seh it rough a road, pay bills. Wi ago mek it wid your way. Got to keep moving; feet don’t fail me now,” Ifrica sings on the track.

The song is featured on Bolt’s Sweet 7 Riddim, which he previewed earlier this month. Captioning the video clip of the studio session, Bolt questioned if Ifrica thinks fans are ready for the single’s release.

Bolt retired from track and field following the 2017 World Championships and has since expressed a desire to model his new music career off of the likes of American record executive and producer DJ Khaled.
