Vybz Kartel Hits the Gym in Saint Vincent: Video

Following his departure from Jamaica, Vybz Kartel shared footage of a gym session on Saturday as the artiste seeks to recuperate in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Dancehall artiste, who is suffering from Graves’ disease, has been focussing on his family and fitness since his release last month. Ahead of his first concert, which is slated for December, the artiste appears to be ramping up his fitness journey to make sure he is in the best of shape for the highly anticipated event.
In videos shared on his Instagram page, Kartel can be seen working out at the gym in the company of his attorney, Isat Buchanan, and a man who appears to be his new personal trainer. In addition to doing leg extensions, Kartel also shared a video of him working out on a leg press machine.
The artiste jokingly stated that Buchanan, former cricketer Marlon Samuels, and Bovell, seemingly his trainer, are responsible if anything happens to him. “People, Bovell, Isat, and Marlon Samuels wah kill mi. If nutting du mi people a dem,” Kartel said.
The deejay further expressed in the video’s caption that it is hard, but he is not the type to give up. “First day Vincy Workout 😰 one word…HARD!..but me nuh know wah name give up! #GodistheGreatest,” Kartel wrote.
Reacting to Kartel’s video, his fiance Sidem Osturk said “Yes baby ❤️❤️ who name give up.. you don’t know them ❤️❤️,” while his son Likkle Addi “Dat is it, str8 a kym 😂.”
