Vybz Kartel Says Fiancée Sidem Öztürk Saved Him from “Self Destruction”

Though he has had many baby mothers and children over the years, Dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel apparently met and fell in love with the love of his life in recent times.

The entertainer often refers to his now fiancée, Sidem Öztürk, as “God sent” because of the love that he has developed for the Turkish national and her influence in his life. Although they have received a lot of backlash for their relationship, the two love birds persist even with the artiste still behind bars.

Kartel has also described Öztürk as his muse and along with stating that his latest EP, Numb, stemmed from a conversation with his fiancée, he had also dedicated an EP to her called True Religion (the lover’s bible).

Recently, the Time Heals artiste posted a picture to his Instagram Story with the caption, “You save me from self destruction. I’ll forever be grateful. I love you Sooooo much @sidemozturk GOD sent,” with an addition of a string of heart emojis.

Kartel and Öztürk got engaged during his incarceration in 2022 and along with getting a tattoo of her fiancé’s name, Öztürk mentioned during an interview that instead of the traditional rings, she would rather get tattoos of each other’s names on their ring fingers to symbolize their love and commitment.
