Vybz Kartel Shows Off Treadmill and Says “Family and Fitness”

Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel who is now a free man after spending over a decade in prison, shared on Friday that he will now be focussing on his Fitness and family.
Released on Wednesday, Kartel has since reunited with his family and friends and has been sharing glimpses of his time back on the outside with his fans on social media. Following his release, the artiste has removed his old Instagram posts, and his account now only features posts made since he left prison.
Today, Kartel took to his now-purged Instagram page and shared photos of what appears to be his new home gym acquisition. The Summer Time deejay shared one photo of him seemingly testing out a treadmill and another photo of the workout equipment beside a painting of him and his partner, Sidem Öztürk.
Captioning the post, Kartel wrote, “Family and Fitness #GodistheGreatest.”
There have long been concerns about Kartel’s health after it was disclosed that he was suffering from Graves’ disease while he was incarcerated. But the deejay appears to be focused on getting back to his prime now that he is a free man.
Reacting to his post, most fans expressed their support, with some viewers advising the deejay not to over-exert himself and get some professional medical treatment.
“You need to go doctor bredda you need the hospital and proper treatment don’t run down the place and past out before we get a concert,” one fan wrote.
Other fans of the artiste criticised those who are advising him to see a doctor instead of working out at home.
“All a uno a talk bout hospital hospital uno think the man a fool him plan him freedom him no muse have a plan fi him health gi the man a BBC break right now some a uno kids flu and fever a mash dem up that uno fi go focus pon,” one of Kartel’s supporters wrote.
