Vybz Kartel’s Application For New Phone Evidence Rejected
Vybz Kartel’s application to the Privy Council, submitted by his legal team, to introduce new evidence into his case has been denied.
His attorneys had the new evidence, a phone, assessed by an expert witness, and applied for it to be a part of his appeal.
Meanwhile, a hearing date has not yet been established for Kartel’s main appeal of his conviction and sentence.

In 2014, Kartel (real name Adidja Palmer) and fellow performer Shawn Storm (real name Shawn Campbell), alongside Kahira Jones and Andre Saint John, was convicted of the 2011 murder of Clive Lizard Williams, whose body was never found.
