Watch: Popcaan Releases “Great Is He” Music Video and Album Trailer

Ahead of the release of his much-anticipated album, Great Is He, Popcaan has released the album’s title track music video, which also serves as the album’s trailer.

Fans of the artiste have been patiently waiting for the release of his newest project since the release of his fourth album, FIXTAPE, in 2020. Popcaan supporters won’t have to wait much longer, with Great Is He set to debut on January 27.

The entertainer has been giving fans a taste of the upcoming album by releasing videos for multiple singles that will be featured on the project, such as Next To Me and We Caa Done.

The single Next To Me saw the deejay collaborating with his girlfriend Toni-Ann Singh in November 2022 for their first duet. He also recently released his latest collaborative single with Canadian rapper Drake, entitled We Caa Done, on January 6.

With only a week left until his album’s debut, Popcaan released the Great Is He music video on Friday. The video, which was shot in black and white, seemingly takes the Addicted deejay back to the forested river backdrop chosen for his Next To Me music video with Singh.

“Stay real to the family. Money nuh change we. Money can’t change my style. Before me sell out mi friend dem rather stay hungry,” Popcaan declares on the track as he stands in the middle of the river surrounded by his unruly squad.

The artiste proceeds to warn his many adversaries that they will not get the best of him as he trusts in God.

“God gimme that power long time fi guh kill satan an him evil plan dem. Great is he, great is he that trust the most high.”
