WATCH: Vybz Kartel and Valiant Drop “Stay Clean” Music Video
After teasing the release of their Stay Clean collaboration for the last few days, the new song by Vybz Kartel and Valiant premiered on the St. Mary singer’s YouTube channel at 7 PM on Friday, May 5. Excited fans filled the waiting queue as the launch counted down.
The first glimpse shown was seen in the preview that was uploaded to social media prior, then as the video continued, a holographic figure of the incarcerated deejay, Vybz Kartel, is featured singing a part of the song that was not heard before.
Kartel sings what seems to be the chorus, “Mi ever stay clean, ever stay clean. Gal say mi sweet like bake bean, f**k har every night make she daydream. Both di mother an di daughter a praise me.”
Both artistes take turns dropping bars, and getting into another of his part of the song, Valiant intones, “…uptown gal a wine pan mi Tiktok, 9X, when it squeeze yuh know it chip glock, any talk weh mi make yuh know a it dat. Dior pan mi shoes, Armani suit cost over 2 grand. A never sciance mi use, tek yuh gal put har innah mi new van.”
The video alternated between Valiant in a party setting, surrounded by girls and his crew, while Kartel’s holographic figure is shown in multiple scenes, including on a screen and overlooking a cityscape.

Reacting to the song someone said, “tuff tune,” while another pointed out, “this is a big hit instant trending this ago đź’Żđź’Żđź’Ż.” Many others used fire emojis to express that they thought that the song was a hit.
