Whisper Set to go on Trial at a Top Five Club in England

In the coming days, Jamaican wonderkid Dujuan “Whisper” Richards will embark on a two-week trial with a Top five English Premier League club, according to Craig Butler. At the recently concluded Reggae Boyz training camp, the Phoenix Academy standout impressed Jamaican head coach Heimir Hallgrimsson. The former Icelandic coach said he was an exciting player after seeing the teenager in training.
The Jamaica Observer has reported that Dujuan Richards received his British visa last week, according to an article published by the news source. The publication went on to state that, at the moment, he is awaiting the issuance of a Schengen visa, allowing him to partake in trials at various clubs in some other European countries.
However, CEO of Pheonix Academy Craig Butler, who is also the agent for the teenager, was tight-lipped on specifying which club ‘Whisper Richards will be heading to when asked to comment on the breaking news. Craig, nevertheless, added that the 17-year-old was bound for a top-five club. Currently, in the English Premiership, it is Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester United, are ranked first through fifth.
“Whisper is going to England to do a trial with a club there, and we are looking forward to seeing him perform at that level and to make his path,” Butler commented in an interview conducted by the news source.

In addition, the coach said it is now the right time for ‘Whisper’ to demonstrate what he can do so that when the time comes for him to sign, clubs in England and mainland Europe will recognize his abilities and value him.
