Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake, one of the fastest men who has run the 100m, is back on the track and has given fans an inside look into his training session.

In his first appearance in the 100m for the 2023 athletic season, Blake clashed with reigning world champion Fred Kerly from the USA and reigning Olympic champion Marcel Jacobs of Italy. He finished sixth place in 10.18 seconds at the Rabat Diamond League in Morocco on May 28.

The 2011 World 100m champion went on to run a season’s best of 10.05 for a second-place finish at the Fanny Blankers-Koen Games on June 4.

Following his 10.16-second finish at the Paris Diamond League on Friday, Blake is back in training. The veteran sprinter has been testing the PUMA evoSPEED Cleats, and though the shoe is made for long-distance, the athlete shared that it has been working well for him in training.
