Yohan Blake Wins 100m Dash At Jamaica Trials In 9.85

The Men’s 20+ 100m Dash Senior was definitely a race that had everyone at the edge of their seats, watching as Yohan Blake dashed to the finish line clocking 9.85 seconds, which is not only a stunning season’s best but also the second fastest time in the world for this year.

Blake, who had a great start, was challenged by the younger runners he competed with but came out on top being seasoned on the tracks. Blake finished ahead of Oblique Seville who clocked a great time at 9.88 seconds after putting up a great challenge. At 9.93 seconds, Ackeem Blake finished in third place.

Yohan Blake hasn’t run at such an incredible speed in 10 years when he ran 9.69 seconds in 2012.
