Young Woman Goes Missing After Agreeing To Meet Man For $500 In Texas

Felicia Johnson, a 24-year-old woman was reported missing on April 16, 2022, after her bloodied cell phone and purse were found at the Bear Creek Pioneers Park in Houston, Texas.

The young woman recently moved from California to Texas and was actively seeking employment. She was officially last seen at a strip club where she had applied for a job.

The accused is 28-year-old Chukwuebuka Nwobodo, who reportedly offered the victim an amount of $500 over Snapchat to meet with him face-to-face.

Based on investigations, Johnson’s last known whereabouts after having been seen at the strip club, was at the InterContinental Houston – Medical Center hotel in Houston, Texas where she left in an Uber that was sent by Nwobodo.

She was then initially taken to his old apartment, after which he picked her up and drove her to his current address, where it is presumed by the authorities that she was murdered.

A month after Johnson’s disappearance in May of 2022, investigators got an arrest warrant for Nwobodo. His vehicle was searched and police found blood in the trunk and backseat of his vehicle among other suspicious items such as loose latex gloves, a shovel, a handgun, and a large kitchen knife with bloodstains.

Additionally, court documents revealed that he searched on the internet for: “how to be a serial killer,” “how to get away with murder,” “can bleach destroy DNA,” and the “most forested part of Houston” and “Houston escorts”.

The suspect was subsequently apprehended on May 13, 2022, but was released soon after. He is currently on the run and is wanted by the police.

To date, Johnson’s body has not been found.
