[Sharingbuttons]Mr. Babani of a Cherry Gardens, St Andrew address was charged because counterfeit goods were found in his store which is located in the Boulevard Mall on the Washington Bulevard in Kingston.

The police have decided to do more to protect Jamaican consumers, so they have been carrying out operations that sometimes lead to the charges being made on business persons who bring counterfeit goods into Jamaica.

These goods have caused a lot of the local manufacturers to have a hard time, as they are sold cheap and persons buy them even they are told to support Jamaican business people.

It would be good if these business people could stop importing so much goods and do more to support Jamaica’s economy.
