12 People Shot At Event In Franklyn Town

As reported by the Jamaica Observer, a total of twelve people were shot at a party on Sunday night in Franklyn Town, Kingston.

The incident took place shortly after 11 pm according to a source who also detailed that many shots were heard, and when the smoke cleared, 12 individuals were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

All 12 persons were taken to the hospital, the injuries are believed to be not life-threatening.

The incident took place at the intersection of Wellington Street, York Street and Lacy Road in the Eastern Kingston community.

No motive has been reported with regards to the shooting.

The police are investigating the matter.
